As we have already been hit with snow, there are a few things that you should do and check.
Make sure you let your vehicle warm up. This will allow your engine to warm up and then instead of having cold arm blow out of the vents, you will have warm air.
Make sure you have an inspection done on your vehicle to ensure it can withstand the winter months, including having working heat.
DO NOT DRIVE when your windshield and wind are covered in frost. You may be in a hurry some morning, but it is not worth the risk. Make sure your windows are defrosted or brushed off to have visual around you.
When you turn your vehicle off, make sure your window wipers are also turned off. If we get hit with snow, you can damage the wipers when they try to mov but unable to due to the heavy snow. Inaddition, if it gets cold enough, wipers can be damaged as well.
The list is endless of different things one should be careful of over the winter months; just make sure you keep yourself. other drivers, and your family safe.
